The following counties and regions have a CfDS local officer, who will be willing to provide information and support dark skies initiatives.
If for any reason you cannot contact your local officer, please contact the nearest regional information officer (RIO) - RIOs have volunteered to field queries in the absence of other officers. The list of RIOs appears at the bottom of the local officers list.

CfDS is always looking for concerned individuals to 'spread the word' about the dark skies debate. To join us, please subscribe to our newsletter. Just send £3 (cheque payable to "British Astronomical Assn (CfDS)") for four issues to the British Astronomical Association at Burlington House, Piccadilly, London W1J 0DU, or contact the co-ordinator, Bob Mizon, via either email or post.
If you want to become even more involved in the campaign, you can become a local officer - someone who is willing to offer advice to others interested in the aspects of light pollution.
